Our mission is to build a strong vibrate LGBTQ People of Color liberation movement.
#Brothafest founded was officially activated in 2015 as a response the deteriorating BLACK PRIDE concept as many younger people do not know the important historical connotations that BLACK PRIDE represented.
#Brothafest will widen our scope of works to include our all urban LGBTQ communities’ of color, as we are stronger together. We broaden the conversations to be inclusive and not exclusive.
#Brothafest is a festival celebration during Independence Weekend and movement dedicated to affirming lives of LGBTQ people of color in Urban Southern California communities. (July 4th weekend is the official Black Gay Pride Weekend
#Brothafest events and services are year round to promote, support and refer LGBTQ Health Wellness, Youth, HIV/AIDS, Post-Incarceration populations, Homeless and the specific issues as it relates LGBTQ people of color.
